Why is my market suggestion not on Moonopol?#
So, you had an epic idea for a market — maybe something like “Will Elon Musk tweet about MOONOPOL five times this week?” — but you don’t see it on Moonopol. What gives? Here’s why your suggestion might not have made the cut (yet!).
1. It’s a Cool Idea, But… Not Quite Feasible 😬#
We love spicy market ideas, but for a market to work, we need an objective, verifiable outcome. If an event is too vague, subjective, or impossible to verify (e.g., “Will the crypto market feel bullish next month?”), we can’t list it — no matter how fun it sounds!
2. We Need Reliable Data 📊#
Our markets are resolved using AI-based Oracles, which pull verified data to determine the outcome. If there’s no trusted data source to confirm what actually happened, we can’t run the market. We love memes, but we also love accuracy. 😉
3. It’s a Bit Too Wild for Our Rules 🚨#
While we’re all for exciting bets, we follow legal and ethical guidelines. Markets involving illegal activity, private individuals, or highly sensitive events (e.g., political assassinations, natural disasters) won’t be listed. We’re here for fun, not controversy!
4. It’s Already in the Works! ⏳#
If your idea is solid and meets all the requirements, there’s a chance it’s already under review. We regularly add new markets based on community feedback, so keep an eye out — it might be coming soon!
5. Not Enough Interest 🚀#
Prediction markets thrive on liquidity — the more people betting, the better the market. If we think an event won’t attract enough action, we might skip it. But don’t worry, if demand grows, we’ll reconsider!
6. It Must Be Hard to Manipulate 🕵️#
Markets need to be fair and resistant to manipulation. If an event is easy to rig (like “Will my friend Bob tweet tomorrow?”), it won’t make the cut. We ensure that listed markets/projects can’t be unfairly influenced by a small group of participants.
How to Get Your Market Listed?#
Got a killer market idea? Here’s what you can do:
- Make sure it has a clear, verifiable outcome.
- Check if reliable data sources exist.
- Ensure it’s hard to manipulate so that no one can rig the results.
- Suggest markets that people will actually want to bet on!
Don’t Give Up! Keep Suggesting! 💡#
Just like in trading, one rejection doesn’t mean you should stop! If your market suggestion wasn’t accepted, tweak it, refine it, or come up with something even better. Some of the best ideas take a few tries before they get noticed!
If your idea meets these standards, send it over to [email protected] and we’ll take a look! Who knows? Your suggestion could be the next big market on Moonopol. 🚀
